The Impossible Dream has come true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, im ready.

In THE Greatest Night of My Entire Life, the Boston Red Sox, yes the Boston Red Sox, won the World Series. Wednesday October, 27 2004 will take on a life of its own in my life, that i will someday, if ever have children or grandchildren, share with the most cherished of memories.

The Red Sox won tonight 3-0 to sweep the Cardinals. I had the privilege of watching the clincher at the SpringHouse with Kyle, Brad, Fries, Droz and Lauren and a cast of others. It was a great atmosphere to watch the best moment in the history of sports. Eerie night, that included a total eclipse of the moon and someone stealing my celebratory cigars out of my neon.

Keith Foulk pitched the 9th to save the game, and the hugs and love began. It was the greatest feeling, actually watching the Red Sox winning the World Series. Something i cant put into words but something i'll never forget. This memory will last forever, until the day i die. Its something, we as Red Sox Nation, will never let go of......something that we can relive over and over, as long as we live, as a moment of total pure joy.

Tomorrow night, the biggest game in the history of the Red Sox.

This amazing run has been unreal on the life of Richard Raymond Householder.

The Boston Red Sox are up 3-0 in the World Series against the St. Louis Cardinals after winning tonight. They need to win just 1 more game to win the World Series. 1918, 86 years of history is on the line tomorrow night. Jesus.

Tomorrow night, the Boston Red Sox can win the World Series. Tomorrow night the Boston Red Sox can win the World Series. I'll never know, i imagine, how great that sentence sounds in comparison to anything in my life. At least until it becomes, Tonight the Red Sox won the World Series. Hopefully Wednesday night that can become a reality. I can't put it into words. Tomorrow night, Wednesday October 27, 2004, the Impossible Dream (37 years late) and the greatest night of my life, can become possible. Oh my, Dick Enberg, oh my indeed.

The Impossible Dream is 2 wins away

The Red Sox won game 2 of the World Series tonight and have a 2-0 lead. Schilling pitched and won, and won my heart and love forever. They won game 1 on Mark Belhorn's two run shot off the pesky pole in the 8th last night. They won tonight 6-2.

What do i have to say? They are 2 wins from the World Series Title. I will not lie....i got home and i broke down. I teared up big time. I was a quivering mass of jello. 2 more wins and whatever happens the rest of my life, nothing matters. I can be a complete failure and it will be all good, as long as they win 2 more games before they lose four. Good God.

The Greatest Night of My Entire Life.

Jesus Christ. What do i say? The Red Sox beat the Yankees in Game 7 of the ALCS 10-3 in Yankee Stadium.

Theres so much to say. We finally after over 80 years got those bastards. We proved to the world that we can beat the Evil Empire. We showed Alex Rodriguez that he wasnt the missing link. God Bless Curt Schilling for his Game 6 win, i will love him for the rest of my life. The REDSOX are going to the WORLD SERiES. Jesus H. Christ. They got Steinbrenner, Torre, Jeter, Japsui, and the city of New York. I dont know what to say. Im delirious. They beat the bastards after down 0-3. Third time in major American sports history. Islanders, Leafs, RED SOX.

Watched the game down at the Spring House. Full of rabid Sox fans...they cancelled kareoke tonight for lords sake. Rowdy all night long. Johnny Damon, who i will love forever hit a grand slam and a two run shot as your Game 7 MVP. Ortiz won the ALCS MVP, but hell Damon made up for everything.

In the 9th, Kyle Constein, Erik Fries and i held hands at my order and watched the SOX finish off the greatest comeback ever. Hugs for Kyle, Fries, Brad and even Yankee fans. What a night. They may not win the World Series, but they are in it, and at least for one night, some punk kid in Lancaster had The Greatest Night of His Entire Life.

The Passion of the Red Sox Fan.

Running log of Game 4 of the ALCS:

12:53: Commercial break. After tying the game and getting to Mariano Riveria in the 9th, the Redsox wade thru the 10th and here they are in the top of the 11th, and Curtis Leskanic, all 90 years of him, is pitching with the bases loaded to Bernie Williams, Red Sox 4 Yankees 4.

12:55: Williams flies out to Damon in center. Whew. Riveria is out of the game, but the Red Sox are out of options in their pen....if Mendoza pitches, Francona gets fired in the middle of the game. Wakefield warms up as the Sox bat in the 11th. Commercial....keep the faith.

12:58: I decree, we will not be swept. I light up a Sundance Light. Tom Gordon was never that good for the Red Sox anyway.

12:59: Full count to Mueller.

1:00: Mueller flies out to Matsui. Go back to Chicago, you son of a bitch. Current Possible Hero: Mientkiewitz(sp?).......fuck, line out. To Tony Clark, who couldnt have been worse when he played for Boston. Damon up, time to atone for a horrible series.

1:04: Damon walks with 2 outs.....Cabrera up, Fries called him as the hero before the series started....keep the faith.

1:06: Damon steals....basehit by Cabrera can win it......keep the faith.

1:07: Gor-don! Gor-don! Gor-don! Gor-don!

1:08: Cabrera grounds out like a bitch. Wakefield is due to pitch. Who's this years Aaron Boone? I'm guessing that bastard Miguel Cairo. Commercial break.

1:10: Scratch that, Leskanic is still pitching. Tony Clark up third, i bet he summons that pinstripe mystique and hits a home run, atoning for that Mendoza like year he had in red socks. Base hit for Pussada. Shit. No outs.

1:12: Ground out off Leskanic's ass. Runner to second. Tony the Tiger up to tear my heart out....

1:14: Clark flies out, good for him. Cairo up....ah hell. 2 out.

1:16: I'd like to point out that Joe Buck and Tim McCarver couldnt be more bias towards New York if they had their faces painted Blue and White and were chanting "Lets go Yankees!" Hey, Leskanic pitches 2 great innings, striking Cairo out. No more Aaron Boone curse. For now....commercial break.

1:19: Paul Quantril pitching. Former Red Sox. Manny, D.O. and Varitek due up. He's toast. Basehit Manny! D.O. up. Looking good! No outs...keeping the faith. Another Sundance lit up.

1:23: DAVID MOTHER FUCKING ORTIZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HOMERUN! KEEP THE FAITH! See you today at 5:30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, hell of a game. Lost our hockey game today 3-1...but i wouldnt know why since i was ejected 2 minutes in after accidentally clipping a guy in the mouth with my stick. Split his lip and broke 2 teeth, which earned me a misconduct and match penalty. Horseshit.

Work in 9.5 hours. Ah hell indeed.

Like sands through the hour glass....

Been a while. Again.

School, work, bar, hockey. Bar and hockey are keeping me alive. At least in Lancaster county anyway. We lost our last hockey game 10-3 in embarassing fashion, but just playing is the best.

I haven't written about the RedSox in awhile, so here's been whats up....

They dominated the Angels in the ALDS. I watched game one and two at the Old Spring House, which they won easily. Game three went here and there. I had to work, so i got to watch David Ortiz hit a two run homerun to win the series in relative quiteness infront of customers.

That was all and cool, but the bastard New York Yankees awaited in the ALCS. Again. Revenge for last year, right? Well they just lost game 2 and are down 0-2. Schilling, the whole reason everyone thought the Sox would be better than, and beat the Yanks, tore an ankle ligament and is probably out for the year. Like i said before, i never believed in the Curse, but christ, what else could explain this bullshit? Yeah, ill root for them in game 3, but what chance do they have? Bronson Arroyo? Tim Wakefield? Good night Irene. On the plus side... the Spring House has been full of Red Sox fans, which was real nice to be around common good. But its the Red Sox, and the Yankees, so why didnt i see it coming? God Dammit.

Hey, this blog has made 1000 hits. Damn. People...leave a comment or sign the guestbook please....

I'd also like to point out that no one should trust anyone with money and the words ebay, laptop and thinkpad have become synonomous with maxipad, mentrual cycle, cotex, and vaginal cramps in my mind.

Work sucks, i work with imbeciles, but there are a few people, at least one, that remain in a circle of trust. My managers are tools, they just dislike or treat me like i do not exist. Im sure thats how its gonna be for the rest of my life, but hey i have to complain about something right?

Baby, if you wanna be my lover...you better take me home....cause its a long, long way to Paradise and i'm still on my own!

In hockey news...we won our last 2 hockey games in dominating fashion. We beat this one team 7-1 and another 9-0. MGD is back on track. I have found a scoring touch this season. I've scored 7 goals and netted 4 assists so far in 6 games. College has looked great, Fries is on fire and in the scoring lead and Doug had a hat trick last game. Soon enough the playoffs will start and hopefully we can get another trophy.

Work sucks. But, like That Fish Place, there's a few people that i really like working with that i wouldn't want to quit outright. There also happens to be a bevy of beautiful girls that work there that i would just love to bang. A,K,L,A,L,M,J,M.

School is also quite boring. But Dr. Suzielides pulled off the ultimate---mentioning Wayne Gretzky, a special bonus that pulled me out of a near-sleep experience. Did you know that Ukranians immigrated to Western Canada in large numbers? And did you know that's where you get names like Wayne Gretzky? I didnt, but now you know and knowing's half the battle. 894 goals, 1963 assists, 2857 points. Thank goodness for the Slavs.
